Fruits have always been a part of our daily lives colorful and vibrant King said, explaining why he chose fruits as his characters. They’re simple yet relatable. By giving them personalities, quirks, and voices, it’s like bringing something we see every day to life in a new way. And yes, they definitely have a special charm. To me, they’re nature’s little comedians.

The biggest challenge in creating comics is visualizing the scene and then finding the right words to make the joke work. King shared, reflecting on the difficulties of comic creation. But the most rewarding part comes when the wording clicks and the comic is fully colored and polished.

My style has evolved but not drastically, King said, discussing his artistic journey. If you scroll down to the beginning of my Instagram, you can see how it’s changed. I’ve made the limbs of my characters smaller the colors more vibrant and the jokes have definitely gotten a bit bolder.
