Hill explains, My style can be semi-realistic or a bit loose but I steer clear of anything too outlandish. My humor tends to reflect everyday life stuff people can easily relate to. It’s often a mix of Boomer humor I’m 75 with a bit of a quirky twist. When asked about the core purpose of his comics Hill candidly stated I just want to make people laugh. When asked about the most difficult part of creating comics Doug explained The toughest part is coming up with the ideas. Some ideas you just know will land, others miss the mark, and sometimes I draw something simply because I find it amusing. He continued, I love the process of taking a rough concept sketching it out, and then refining it until it feels just right.
