Bliss views his cartoons as a type of journey into a different realm. “If someone can glance at one of my drawings and momentarily drift into a whimsical scene—like a dog and its owner strolling through the woods—that’s a kind of release. It’s almost like an escape.” He finds solace in the process itself. “Drawing gives me a break from everything else, a personal kind of retreat. It’s like my version of meditation, a way to stay grounded. And laughter, it turns out, is a wonderful antidote to the heaviness of life. Over time, my cartoons have transformed into something more personal. They’re a reflection of who I am. Do you want to know me?
